Walkathon & Camp Kick-Off

Camp Kick-off will follow our fifth annual fundraiser Walk-a-Thon! Supporters, volunteers, camp leadership, parents and children come together to celebrate a new season, break bread, and share in fellowship as we ramp up for the 2023 camp season. Everyone is encouraged to join the fun – a BBQ and drinks will be provided and served around 5:00 pm. Please bring a small salad or dessert to help out if you can.

Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser

Over the past few years at OCA, the Annual Walk-a-Thon has helped to raise money for special projects. Our last Walk-a-Thon supported the building of a new Basketball area between girl's cabin 3 and the garage. Construction is set to start any week and we hope to finish the work before winter of 2024.

The Walk-a-Thon this year will support the build of a new large floating dock. As we continue different projects on improving the pond, having a floating structure will be beneficial for work around the damn. And someday when pond cleanup is completed, we hope it will become a new swimming platform for everyone to enjoy. This year's Walk-a-Thon will be held at camp on Saturday June 17th 2023 at 1:00pm with the walkathon starting at 2:00pm sharp. The walk is 5 km around and through trails at the camp.

If you can't make it but still want to support the fundraiser feel free to complete your walk anywhere you can. The fundraising form is below, and you can provide any funds raised to a board member or your camp church representative. If you want to attend in person but concerned with the distance or terrain and want to participate, a shorter, flatter route along the roadway is provided. Donations of $20.00 or more will receive a Charitable Receipt.

This consent and authorization is effective only when participating in or traveling to events sponsored by the Ontario Christian Assembly, Inc.

    By permitting myself and my children to attend Ontario Christian Assembly Inc. I agree to allow us to be photographed or videoed for brochures, promotional material, camp websites, social media, newsletters, and any purpose relating to the camp.

    Purposes and Extent

    Ontario Christian Assembly, Inc. is collecting and retaining this personal information for the purpose of enrolling you and your child in our programs, to assign the student to the appropriate classes, to develop and nurture ongoing relationships with you and your child, and to inform you of program updates and upcoming opportunities at our Camp.
