Annual General Meeting September 12th at 4pm

A quick reminder that our Annual General Meeting will be held this Saturday up at Camp OCA. Please come and enjoy a Covid-Safe BBQ with salad and sausages. If you have contributed more than $50 to camp during the 2019-2020 season you have a vote! Please email us if you require a copy of our AGM Report or a Proxy document.

Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser

Due to the overwhelming success of last year's fundraiser Walk-A-Thon, we are holding it again on Saturday September 26th of this month! Similar to last year, this is a 1k - 5K walk fundraiser, but this time proceeds will be used to help pay for the final installation and equipment of the two new children's play areas we are working to add to our facilities. Walkers will collect pledges for every 1K they complete with milestones set at 1k, 3k, and 5k. This means every and all health / age levels are encouraged to participate! If you are able to come and participate, the Walk-A-Thon will start at 1pm.

If you would like to support the camp but are not capable of completing the walk please come to encourage those who are, and celebrate all the wonderful work that has been completed during this down season!

If you can walk and fundraise, but are not able to make it to camp don't let that stop you! You can also perform a virtual walk. Please fill out all the forms as usual, and walk wherever your heart desires. As long as you provide some evidence, whether that is a picture, video, or even a steps calculator screenshot from your phone, you can still earn rewards and contribute to this good cause!

This consent and authorization is effective only when participating in or traveling to events sponsored by the Ontario Christian Assembly, Inc.

    By permitting myself and my children to attend Ontario Christian Assembly Inc. I agree to allow us to be photographed or videoed for brochures, promotional material, camp websites, social media, newsletters, and any purpose relating to the camp.

    Purposes and Extent

    Ontario Christian Assembly, Inc. is collecting and retaining this personal information for the purpose of enrolling you and your child in our programs, to assign the student to the appropriate classes, to develop and nurture ongoing relationships with you and your child, and to inform you of program updates and upcoming opportunities at our Camp. This information will be maintained indefinitely as it is a requirement of our insurance company and legal counsel. If you wish Ontario Christian Assembly, Inc. to limit the information collected, or to view your child’s information, please contact us.

    With the increasing usage of cellular devices, cameras, and social media sharing, we are aware of the media that is being taken without our consent of other campers, individuals, and their social groups. We thus can no longer ensure parents, guardians, children, youth, or vulnerable adults, that any media taken at or during the camp will not contain images of the respective individuals.
